Intro to Pathogen Bioinformatics

An introductory course on Pathogen Bioinformatics for Genomic Epidemiology

This course offers a practical introduction to Pathogen Bioinformatics for Genomic Epidemiology, using both Galaxy and command line interface (CLI). It will use analysis of SARS-CoV-2 sequencing data as an example and also cover handling metadata to add context to the sequencing data being discussed and illustrate techniques in genomic epidemiology.

Programme

The course is a two week (10 days) programme of in-person instruction combining theoretical back with practical instruction and opporunity for hands-on practice of the skills presented.
